Coronavirus update – Hansel and Gretel postponed

Sadly, we have decided to postpone the performances of  Hansel and Gretel which were to have taken place at the end of March. We are currently working on new dates for the performances and will publish these here as soon as they are available.

If you have already bought tickets for the production, we will be in touch with about what to do next.

Like any small arts organisations, the current situation is having a major impact on CYO and our activities. There has never been a better time to show your support for our work and to support our current fundraising efforts.

Singing with CYO has given me so much more confidence, not just in performing but in everything!

About CYO

Cambridge Youth Opera broadens the creative horizons of young people through opera. We work with young people to create age appropriate productions to the highest possible standard. Our activities include everything that goes to make up an opera, onstage and backstage. You don’t need to know anything about opera to join us, but what you find out might surprise you! Our activities are open for everybody. We don’t charge for participation.

I don’t want the show to be over. CYO feels like home.

CYO is great. The first time at the opera for us, and hopefully not the last.
